Age, mileage, inspection, and warranty. Gold Certified and EV Certified Ford models are up to 6 years old with less than 80,000 miles, with a 172-point inspection for Gold and a 127-point inspection for EV. Can a certified vehicle be from a make other than Ford?
Yes, through Blue Certified. Vehicles from other makes can qualify if they are up to 10 years old with less than 150,000 miles and pass the 139-point inspection. Gold Certified and EV Certified are for Ford models only.
How long is the powertrain coverage?
Gold Certified vehicles have a 7-Year/100,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Powertrain Limited Warranty. EV Certified vehicles have an 8-Year/100,000-Mile (whichever comes first) BaseCARE EV Limited Warranty. Yes. Every Ford Blue Advantage vehicle comes with a free CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
How does the Money Back Guarantee work?
You have 14 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the sale date and mileage on your bill of sale. The vehicle must come back in the same condition as sold, apart from normal wear. The dealer can't accept a return on a vehicle with a lien, and your original trade-in is not returned. Buying a different vehicle may mean different financial terms than your original contract. Can I finance or trade in a certified vehicle?
Yes. You can get pre-qualified online or visit the Finance Center. To sell or trade in your current vehicle, use We'll Buy Your Car.
